
We are partnered with a high growth digital marketing agency in their search for a Finance Manager. Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role involves owning month-end, budgeting and forecasting.
Due to the nature of their work, previous experience working in a finance role for a digital marketing agency is essential, including experience with project accounting and revenue recognition (e.g. retainers, project work, media pass through spend) in this industry context.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Leading month-end close - to include reviewing of management accounts, accruals and reconciliations.
- Providing narrative and commentary and variance analysis.
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
- Providing commercial insight from financial data.
- Improving financial controls and processes and supporting with the integration of new systems
This role would suit someone who is:
- Part qualified or qualified (and study support available if needed)
- Used to working in a similar role, e.g. finance manager or management accountant role within an agency environment
- Comfortable using Excel and Xero
- Enthusiastic about working in a fast paced, rapidly scaling SME environment
