Our client, a well-established and highly regarded organisation within the education sector, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruitment Coordinator to join their HR team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, supporting the delivery of a high-quality recruitment service across the organisation.

Working closely with the Resourcing Business Partner, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient end-to-end recruitment process, maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and internal procedures while delivering an outstanding candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of a professional, efficient and compliant recruitment service
  • Source high-quality candidates using a variety of methods including job boards, social media and networking
  • Assist in building and maintaining talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Coordinate the full recruitment lifecycle, from attraction through to onboarding
  • Screen applications and CVs in line with role requirements and safeguarding standards (KCSIE)
  • Support hiring managers with interview processes, selection methods and assessment materials
  • Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout
  • Manage interview scheduling and maintain clear communication with candidates and stakeholders
  • Carry out pre-employment checks including references, DBS, right to work and compliance documentation
  • Maintain accurate records in line with GDPR and data protection requirements
  • Provide guidance to managers on recruitment procedures and best practice
  • Support recruitment events including job fairs and community engagement activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and systems

About You

  • Previous experience within recruitment, resourcing or HR administration
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail, particularly in relation to compliance and data accuracy
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience using HR systems or applicant tracking systems
  • Knowledge of safer recruitment practices and DBS processes is advantageous
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach
