A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an award-winning, independent Chartered Insurance Broker as an Account Handler within a specialist scheme team.

This is a varied and fast-paced role where you'll build strong relationships with both new and existing clients, supporting them in securing the right insurance solutions for their businesses. You'll also play a key role in underwriting risks under delegated authority, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their technical expertise.

The Role

You will take full ownership of your portfolio, managing the full insurance lifecycle, including:

  • Handling new business enquiries
  • Managing renewals and mid-term adjustments (MTAs)
  • Underwriting risks within delegated authority
  • Delivering exceptional client service
  • Building strong client relationships and providing ongoing support

This role requires excellent attention to detail, organisation, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.

About You

We're looking for an experienced insurance professional who can bring:

  • 5 years' experience within the commercial insurance sector
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • High attention to detail
  • A customer-focused approach
  • A willingness to learn and develop
