A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a HR Manager to join a manufacturing business based in the Kirkham area. In this role you will lead a dedicated HR team, influence business strategy and drive meaningful change across the site.
Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will lead the people agenda for the Kirkham site, partnering closely with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business growth, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
You'll work across Operations, Commercial, and Support Services functions, leading key people initiatives while ensuring a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver change management initiatives that support growth, efficiency, and cultural development
- Partner with the Site Director and leadership team on workforce planning, organisational design, and talent development
- Manage complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes
- Oversee recruitment across all site functions, working alongside Group to deliver an exceptional candidate experience
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices remain compliant with UK employment legislation, company standards, and industry requirements
- Support internal and external audits by providing HR documentation and evidence
- Promote an inclusive, positive, and safety-focused culture across the site
- Lead employee engagement activities, including surveys, action planning, and communication programmes
- Use HR data and insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement
The successful candidate will be a confident and commercially minded HR generalist who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of UK employment and HR best practice is essential along with a proven track record in effective stakeholder management and driving organisational change.
