I am currently supporting a client of mine based in the Wigan area with the search for their Head of People. This is a fantastic opportunity to add value to an ambitious business plan with a clear strategy to achieve growth and success. In this role you will work closely with the senior leadership team to both shape and deliver the people strategy.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Devise and implement the people strategy in line with wider commercial objectives
• Work alongside the leadership team to shape roles, responsibilities, structures and ways of working
• Support the business through periods of transformation
• Build and lead a small people team
• Continually embed the culture and values into all areas of the business
• Provide trusted and commercial HR advice to the business
• Lead on talent attraction, retention and internal succession planning

To be considered for this role it is essential that you have experience in a senior HR role having supported a business through a period of change and transformation. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and forward-thinking individual with a real appetite for embracing AI and automation.

Please note this is an office based role, and whilst the role is permanent my client is also keen to speak to Interim HR leaders who would be interested in an opportunity to support the business before a permanent appointment is made.
