
Receptionist- full time Monday- Friday
Location: Westhoughton, Bolton
Salary: up to circa £30k
We are looking for a personable, organised and proactive individual who thrives in a busy environment to join a well established business based in Westhoughton. This is a full time, permanent opportunity offering a varied role across reception and some finance administration duties to support the team.
As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will provide a professional and welcoming reception. This role would suit someone with excellent communication and organisational skills who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
Key responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy and presentable
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Maintain visitor logs and issue passes where required
- Control security barriers & turnstiles for head office
- Providing secretarial, clerical and administrative support to Finance Department
- Distribute stationery orders
- Be a responsible Fire Marshall
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience within an administrative and in person customer services role
- Some experience with finance administration duties is advantageous
- Excellent telephone manners
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Reliable and punctual
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Data entry accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Ability to use initiative and be adaptable to deal with different situations
