Assistant Accountant

Location: Salford- hybrid working

Salary: up to circa £29,000 plus ACCA/ CIMA study package

I am currently recruiting for a self-motivated, pro-active Assistant Accountant to join a global business based in Salford.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting business, where you will join a large finance team, working closely with and reporting to an experienced Finance Manager, thus gaining some great exposure and the opportunity to progress.

Responsibilities will include:

• End to end management from cash reconciliations to supporting external reporting - board papers, stat accounts and lender compliance
• Key tasks include:
• Cash Reconciliations
• Balance Sheet Recs
• Month End Preparation
• Accruals & Prepayments
• Fixed Assets
• VAT returns
• Liaise with and provide support to operational teams

Ideally you will be finance graduate or in the earlier stages of your career, looking to continue with your studies (ACCA/ CIMA)- the company will provide a full study package.

You must be flexible, dynamic and have excellent communication skills, whilst having a real desire to grow and develop.
