Billing Coordinator

Our client, a well established and growing business based in Sale, is looking to recruit an experienced Billing Coordinator to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative business that offers a supportive working environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely production of client invoices while working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver an efficient billing process. This role would suit someone with previous billing or invoicing experience who has excellent attention to detail, strong Excel skills and enjoys working in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and issuing accurate client invoices in line with contractual agreements
  • Managing the end-to-end billing process and ensuring invoices are raised on time
  • Investigating and resolving billing queries and discrepancies
  • Liaising with internal departments to obtain and validate billing information
  • Maintaining accurate customer and billing records
  • Supporting month-end billing activities and reconciliations
  • Producing billing reports and analysing data using Excel
  • Building positive relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Identifying opportunities to improve billing processes and efficiencies
  • Providing general support to the wider finance team as required

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Proven experience within a billing or invoicing role
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
