
Claims Handler - Commercial & Personal Lines

We're working with a well-established independent Chartered Insurance Broker looking for a skilled Claims Handler to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role across both Commercial and Personal Lines, including specialist insurance schemes.
What You'll Do
- Handle a wide range of claims including Property, Business Interruption, Employers & Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers, Cyber, Financial Crime, Motor, and more
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and insurers, keeping everyone informed and ensuring smooth claim resolution
- Investigate claims, gather evidence, and negotiate settlements
- Maintain accurate records, manage your diary, and ensure deadlines are met
- Collaborate with Account Executives on larger claims and prepare claims reports
- Continuously develop your knowledge, keeping up with industry changes and participating in training
About You
- 3 years' experience in commercial insurance claims, with a focus on Employers and Public Liability
- Strong understanding of other commercial classes is a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritise a busy workload
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Minimum 5 GCSEs (Maths & English)
