Claims Handler (Insurance)

Location: Bolton

Salary: £28-32k

An independent insurance broker is seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join their team. You will manage a variety of claims across commercial and personal lines, including liability, property and motor.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and process claims, investigating and gathering evidence as needed

• Liaise with clients, insurers, and third parties

• Negotiate settlements and ensure timely claim resolution

• Maintain accurate records and adhere to FCA regulations

• Deliver excellent customer service

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in insurance claims (commercial lines preferred)

• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills

• Attention to detail and good time management

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
