
Brand & Marketing Director, Stockport, £70,000 plus bonus
We're working with a fast-growing founder-led global beauty business who are looking for a Brand & Marketing Director to lead the next stage of its growth journey.
With a portfolio of four distinct brands sold across the UK and international markets, this is an exciting opportunity to shape brand strategy, lead high-impact marketing campaigns, and drive commercial success across multiple channels.
As Brand & Marketing Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing strategy across a diverse portfolio of brands. Working closely with the founder and senior leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening brand positioning, accelerating digital growth, enhancing ecommerce performance, and building strategic retail partnerships.
This role combines strategic leadership with a hands-on approach, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced SME environment and enjoys making an impact.
Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Development - Lead the strategic direction of four distinct brands.
- Consumer Insights & Market Trends - Take a data driven approach to understand audiences to strengthen the brands.
- Digital Marketing Leadership - Own and develop the digital marketing strategy across Paid Social (Meta, TikTok), paid search, CRM and email marketing, influencer and organic social.
- Ecommerce Growth - Develop and deliver ecommerce strategies across owned websites and retail platforms.
- Partnerships & Commercial Collaboration - Work closely with sales to develop trade and retail initiatives and strengthen relationships with retail partners.
- Leadership & Team Development - Lead, inspire and support a high-performing marketing team.
Required skills and experience
- Minimum 10 years' brand marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience within beauty, personal care, lifestyle, or FMCG sectors.
- Proven success building and growing brands within an SME environment.
- Strong expertise in digital marketing, particularly Meta and TikTok advertising.
- Experience developing successful retail and trade marketing partnerships.
- Demonstrated ability to manage marketing budgets effectively and deliver measurable ROI.
- Strong creative direction experience, including campaign development, photoshoots, and creative briefing.
