Assistant Accountant
Location: Salford- with hybrid working, 3 days working from the office and 2 days working from home
Salary: circa £27,000- £30,000 plus study package
I am currently recruiting for a self-motivated, pro-active Assistant Accountant to join a global business based in Salford. This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting business, where you will join a large finance team, working closely with and reporting to a Finance Manager and therefore gaining some great exposure and the opportunity to progress.
This role is ideal for a finance graduate or early career finance professional looking to build experience in a fast-paced business, whilst continuing to study towards CIMA/ ACCA. The company will provide a full study package and offer support and training within the role.
You must be flexible, dynamic and have excellent communication skills, whilst having a real desire to grow and develop.
Responsibilities will include:
- End to end management from cash reconciliations to supporting external reporting - board papers, stat accounts and lender compliance
- Key tasks include:
- Cash Reconciliations
- Balance Sheet Recs
- Month End Preparation
- Accruals & Prepayments
- Bank reconciliation
- Fixed Assets
- VAT returns
- Liaise with and provide support to operational teams
