
Role:
We are working with a client on an exclusive basis regarding the recruitment of a new role within their Finance team. This company has an incredibly good reputation known for how well they look after their staff along with giving back to the local community.
Assisting with all finance areas involved in the Reporting of the EWW Monthly Management Accounts and were required liaising with Commercial, Operational and other Departments to enable their preparation
Key Duties:
- Assisting in the Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assisting in review of individual Jobs P&L and balance sheet
- Assisting in the preparation of
- Monthly business Forecasts, reconciliations against budget, trading against forecast and overheads against budget
- In the performance of the above, liaise with the Commercial team and ensure effective communication is maintained.
- Short term cash flow forecasting incorporating effective communication with those making payments and collecting money from customers.
- Assist with the management and analysis of IR35 matters associated with external workers
- Provide holiday/sickness cover on an ad hoc basis to the team including obtaining a working knowledge of payroll and other areas as needed to maintain efficient running of the department.
- Assisting in the Preparation of the Annual Budget
- Assisting in the Preparation of annual audit file
- Assist with reviewing, documenting and improving systems and controls within the finance dept.
- In due course training of junior finance personnel.
- Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge is necessary for the effective performance of the role.
- Comply with Company rules, policies and procedures at all times.
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks which may be required from time to time and to enable the company to remain adaptable to changing markets and needs.
Experience Required:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA with post qualification experience
- Ability to self-motivate, prioritise work and work autonomously
- Good communication skills to ensure accounting concerns and suggestions are communicated to line manager
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to prepare and present reports
- Good time management skills.
- Knowledge and skill to use ERP system eg Microsoft, Oracle , Navision , BI Reporting , Jet Reporting , Business Analyst including Jet and BI Reporting
- Driving License as may involve occasional travel
