
Finance & Payroll Administrator
Location: Bolton- hybrid- 3 days office and 2 days home
Salary: circa £24,000- £25,000
We are currently recruiting for a Finance & Payroll Administrator to join a business based in Horwich, Bolton. Reporting to the Financial Controller, initially the focus will be the Cash Allocation and payroll administration tasks but then the role could expand to support the finance department in other areas and tasks.
Responsibilities include:
- Posting Cash, allocating customer payment (from all payment streams)
- Support with the preparation and processing of payroll for employees
- Maintain Finance system postings
- Bank Reconciliations
- Ongoing management of the chargeback process with the aim of reducing the level of chargebacks
- Other ad-hoc tasks / projects as required
- Prepare, action and post Payment Audit Transfer
Skills & Attributes:
- Good working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications
- Some payroll experience would be highly preferable
- Highly organised and proactive
- Ability to develop strong working relationship across the business
- High level of accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced organisation
