
Account Handler - Insurance
One of our clients, a well-established and award-winning Chartered Insurance Broker, is looking for an experienced Insurance Account Handler to join their specialist scheme team.
This is a varied and fast-paced role where you'll manage the full insurance cycle - from new business and renewals to mid-term adjustments - while building strong relationships with clients. The position also involves underwriting risks within delegated authority, so attention to detail and strong technical knowledge are key.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting new and existing clients with their insurance needs
Handling new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments
Underwriting risks within authority limits
Delivering exceptional customer service and advice
Essential requirements:
Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English (A-C / 4-9)
5 years' commercial insurance experience
Strong communication and organisational skills
High attention to detail
Commitment to ongoing learning and development
