Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: Bolton
Salary: circa £27,000- £28,000

Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk looking for a steady, well-structured role in a supportive environment? We are seeking a reliable and experienced professional to join a respected organisation on a temporary basis, initially for 3 months, however there could be the opportunity for this to become longer term/ permanent.

You will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, processing invoices and ensuring supplier accounts are accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and code supplier invoices, accurately and on time
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries
  • Ensure all purchase orders and invoices are matched correctly and approved
  • Maintain up-to-date records of supplier accounts and transactions
  • Liaise professionally with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries
  • Support month-end processes and reporting
  • Support the finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required

Skills & Attributes:

  • Established experience in purchase ledger, ideally within a stock centric business
  • Accurate, methodical and dependable
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Positive, professional attitude with a collaborative approach
