
HR Assistant - Full Time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £30,000 benefits
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
We're currently supporting a highly respected organisation in their search for an HR Assistant to join their busy HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further their career in HR, working within a collaborative team and supporting a wide range of HR processes.
The Role
Reporting to the HR Director, you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the HR function. This will be a varied role, giving you exposure to generalist HR responsibilities, recruitment, payroll support, data reporting and employee lifecycle administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and clerical support to the HR team and Director.
Assist with the recruitment process: drafting job descriptions, advertising roles, co-ordinating interviews, and preparing contracts and offer letters.
Support onboarding and induction processes for new employees.
Maintain HR systems and employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Produce reports and analysis on HR data, including turnover and benchmarking.
Provide support with payroll processing and employee changes.
Minute-taking, agenda preparation and maintaining action logs for meetings.
Assist in coordinating training programmes and supporting employee development.

A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Experienced in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and adaptable to HR systems.
Flexible, proactive and committed to delivering excellent HR support.
Previous HR experience is desirable, but we are also open to candidates with strong administrative skills and an interest in progressing within HR.
