
Finance Assistant
Location: Bolton
Full-time(35 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join a busy Finance Department of a well regarded organisation based in Bolton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous finance or accounts experience to contribute to a professional and friendly team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain purchase ledgers, process invoices and ensure accurate financial coding and authorisation.
- Prepare and process BACS payment runs and reconcile supplier statements.
- Manage billing and credit control for specific services
- Assist with the billing and other miscellaneous charges.
- Process petty cash, staff expenses and credit card transactions.
- Provide regular financial reports to budget holders and assist with queries.
- Support other members of the finance team as required.
About You
- Experience working in a finance or accounts role.
- Confident with purchase ledger and billing processes.
- Strong numerical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in using finance systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
