Administrator | High Peak | 34 hours per week | Office-Based

I am currently partnering with a market leader in the processing and distribution of high-quality products. Known for their excellence, innovation, and customer-first approach, this is a progressive and supportive business that offers a professional and welcoming workplace.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and highly organised Administrator to join the team. You'll be at the heart of the business, supporting managers and teams across a wide variety of functions. From diary management and document preparation to HR administration and event coordination, this is a diverse role suited to someone who thrives in a busy, detail-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support across the business.

  • Manage diaries, meetings, and travel arrangements.

  • Draft and prepare letters, reports, and presentations.

  • Maintain filing systems (both digital and paper-based).

  • Handle calls, emails, and correspondence professionally.

  • Support recruitment processes, onboarding, and induction activities.

  • Maintain HR records including absences, sickness, and leavers.

  • Collate and present monthly data reports.

  • Take accurate minutes at meetings.

  • Assist with training records, appraisals, and company documentation.

  • Help coordinate workwear and equipment distribution.

  • Represent the business at schools, colleges, and community events.

  • Provide ad hoc project support as required.

About You

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced administrative role.

  • Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

  • Professional, discreet, and confident handling sensitive information.

  • Flexible and willing to travel occasionally to support events (expenses covered).

  • (Desirable) Experience with HR or business systems such as Sage HR.

Working Hours

  • Part-time | 33.5 hours per week

    • Monday: 9.30 a.m. - 3.00 p.m.

    • Tuesday-Friday: 9.30 a.m. - 4.30 p.m.
