Management Accountant

Based: Fleetwood

Salary: up to £55k dependent on experience. Benefits and hybrid working, 2 days from home and flexible hours

Our client is a leading service provider based in the Fleetwood area. They are a dynamic, forward thinking business continuing to grow year on year. The wider group is made up of a number of other companies and they continue to grow organically and through acquisition.

This role will be on a 6 month basis initially with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person. We can consider a start date within the next 2-3 weeks so if a short notice will be considered

Role:

• Producing monthly management accounts for multiple North West sites
• Group reporting and discussing with Group FC for review
• Monthly management account analysis ensuring all P&Ls are completed
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Annual budget preparation with the Financial Controller
• Maintaining fixed asset register and regular payroll journal analysis
• Adhering to RTI guidelines set out by HMRC
• Credit card statement analysis and postings
• Posting bank transactions with monthly bank reconciliation
• Authorising supplier BACS payments whilst adhering to payment terms
• Working with the wider finance team to ensure a smooth month and year end

Experience:

• Experience of monthly management accounts is essential
• Qualified Accountant essential; ACA, ACCA, CIMA
• Group finance experience would be desirable but not essential
• Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
• Proficient on Excel and strong communication skills
• Able to work as part of a team, ideally with experience of managing staff
