Finance Manager - Qualified/QBE

Finance Manager -

Based: Wigan

Salary: up to £60k dependent on experience, bonus available and a great benefits package

Our client is an expanding e-commerce business based in the Wigan area. The business has doubled turnover in the last 2 years and is continuing to grow in a fast-moving industry with their 3 year strategic plan aiming to take them to European leader in their industry and double turnover again in that time. This role will have full accountability for the finance department. Currently the accounts are outsourced therefore this is a wonderful opportunity to build the team from the ground up.

Role:

  • Responsible for all record to report, statutory financial reporting and financial planning activities across the business
  • Overseeing all banking and treasury activities
  • Delivery of full month end process including management accounts
  • Managing finance risk and controls framework
  • Budgeting and forecasting, working with stakeholders internally to influence non-finance
  • Supporting management of external relationships including banks, auditors, HMRC etc
  • Reporting and financial analysis to the board
  • Providing support on commercial & financial decision making

Experience:

  • CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified OR finalist OR QBE
  • Management accounts prep, audit and VAT exposure essential
  • Ambitious, adaptable to change and keen to progress in a growing business
