Job Title: Credit Controller- immediate start

Salary: Up to circa £28,000- £30,0000

Location: Sale

Our client is currently seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated Credit Controller to join their fantastic team, initially on a 3-month basis, reporting into the Finance Manager. There may be a longer term opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely payment and resolution of any outstanding balances
  • Implementing effective credit control procedures to reduce debtor days and minimise bad debt risk- ensuring the ledger is consistently tidy
  • Responsible for posting cash and uploading invoices
  • Query resolution
  • Invoice discounting reporting
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in credit control or a similar finance role is essential
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
