Finance Manager

Job Title: - Finance Manager

Salary: - £40,000-£45,000

Location: - Bolton

Our client a leading company within the construction industry is looking for a Finance Manager to manage the companies finances. You will report directly into the MD and look after a small finance team. This company offers a stable and rewarding environment in a very well established successful company.

What does the role involve?

  • Producing and overseeing monthly management accounts across multiple companies
  • Create and report on, month end board packs for shareholders.
  • Monitor various companies' income and expenditure.
  • Liaise and advise with stakeholders re VAT/CIS/HMRC/FCA/finance queries.
  • Subcontractor checks - including CIS deductions & CITB returns.
  • Weekly Subcontractor payments - ensuring projects are within budget.
  • Cash flow analysis
  • Oversea small team
  • Oversea FCA reporting
  • Payments, and payments authorization
  • Monthly Payroll, and year ends - Sage
  • Accounts year ends - Sage

The ideal candidate will have:

An ideal person fit for the role will be down to earth with a good work ethic and excellent attention to detail, we are looking for someone who will be able to develop excellent relationships and produce accurate and timely results.

  • A diligent approach to work with excellent attention to detail
  • Someone who is either QBE or Qualified
  • A background in or a good understanding of the construction industry
