Job Title: Purchase Ledger Assistant

Location: Bolton

Salary: Up to £25k

We are currently seeking an experienced and hard-working individual to join our client's team as a Purchase Ledger Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the efficient management of the accounts payable processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchase Ledger Management:

  • Meticulously match, batch, and code invoices.
  • Process invoices onto the accounts purchase ledger accurately and promptly.
  • Handle both internal and external queries from suppliers in a professional manner.
  • Approve invoices on our system for timely payment.
  • Execute payment runs using our accounts system, bankline, and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation by filing, scanning, and organizing in our document management system.
  • Reconcile monthly statements and perform year-end supplier statement reconciliations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience in purchase ledger.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office , particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt and learn new systems and processes.
