Interim Accountant

Interim Manufacturing Accountant

  • 3-6 months initial - Potential for extension
  • Full time / 37.5hr per week
  • Hybrid - Home + Chorley office 2/3 days
  • Up to £55k


Our client, a reputable manufacturing company based in Chorley is looking for an Interim Accountant to join them, there is huge potential for this role going on longer due to acquisitions and growth within the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Investigate newly implemented integrated accounts with labour and overhead recovery
  • Set up reporting to enable checking and monitoring, cleanse data.
  • Pick up full month end processing
  • Journals, balance sheets recs, variance analysis and commentary
  • Produce spreadsheet management accounts and PowerPoint reporting pack.
  • Ad hoc project as and when - including possible acquisition



REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES

  • Confident, hit the road running, inquisitive, work under own initiative and ability to quality check/review own workings, eager, attention to detail, analytical and high numerate, good business acumen and excellent communication skills
  • Good IT skills eg high level Excel
  • Ideally Sage 1000 or Sage 500 experience
