HR Assistant

Employment Type: PermanentLocation: BurnleySalary: £18000 - £21000 per annum

An opportunity has arisen for someone, who has experience in HR or a strong desire to begin their career in HR with experience in administration, to join a successful company as a HR Assistant. The role is based in Burnley on a full time, permanent basis. This is a busy and varied role where you will work as part of a HR team on the following areas:

  • Delivering professional and confidential HR administrative support to the team.
  • Managing and maintaining employee records and files including processing variation to contracts when required.
  • Delivering the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have the best experience as a new member of the team.
  • Organising and supporting events for the business.
  • Assisting with the recruitment process, ensuring all the administration associated with recruitment is complete.
  • Preparing all letters or contracts for any changes to employee terms and conditions e.g. flexible working.
  • Processing starters and leavers, ensuring all documentation and paperwork are complete.
  • Note taking in meetings and in the process gaining valuable experience.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience as a HR Assistant or a desire to begin a career in HR with strong administrative skills. I am looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a professional approach to work and the ability to use their own initiative.
