Logistics Sales Administrator

Employment Type: PermanentLocation: RochdaleSalary: £20000 - £25000 per annum + Benefits


A successful independent distributor are looking to add an experienced Logistics Sales Administrator to their team on a permanent basis, paying up to £25,000pa dependant on experience. Based in North Manchester, this organisation have gone from strength to strength since being founded, and boast an impressive turnover of £50mil.
This newly created role will have a wide range of duties, but effectively you will be responsible for overseeing activities within the warehouse, and reporting back on a number of key indicators accordingly. Please see below a snapshot of the role:

  • Collating, organising and reporting on orders that have been placed and are being shipped within allocated timeframes
  • Driving the productivity within the warehouse, ensuring smooth day to day running to ultimately provide the customers with the best service possible
  • Reporting on stocks and packaging materials available
  • Reporting on collections for stock abroad
  • Overseeing the sales process from start to finish
  • Booking the freight
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything the business does
  • Ad-hoc duties where required


The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience working within Sales Administration, Purchasing Administration or similar
  • Experience working within an environment with a warehouse or logistics function
  • Be an organised self-starter with a commercial mind-set
  • A good sense of humour!
  • Up for a challenge
  • Helpful and hardworking
  • Entrepreneurial with a customer focus


In return you will receive the following:

  • Up to £25k salary dependant on experience
  • Holidays- 25 days plus bank holidays
  • Hours - 8.30 - 5pm Monday - Friday - do weekends at key times
  • Pension 3% employer 5% employee contribution
