Head of Group Accounting/Group Financial Controller

Employment Type: PermanentLocation: OldhamSalary: £75000 - £85000 per annum

A private equity backed innovative market leader in their field are looking to appoint a Head of Group Accounting, this is a newly created role reporting into a CFO who will act as an excellent mentor. This is a great opportunity to gain PE exposure and join a business who are growing rapidly. Heading up the Finance team you will be responsible for the following:

  • Consolidating monthly management accounts across their two businesses
  • Create the board pack
  • Oversee all financial processes including statutory reporting
  • Manage the cash position of the business
  • Take a lead on the annual budget preparation
  • Lead on the annual audit process

To be considered you must have the following experience:

  • Experience at Group level
  • Oversees multi-currency experience
  • A strong financial accounting background
  • Be ACA Qualified
  • Experience of managing a finance team ideally across sites
  • Be open to occasional travel

As you can see this is a really broad role where you'll get the opportunity to influence all areas of Finance and would be a great role to move to on your path to becoming a Finance Director.
