Logistics Planner

A manufacturer with a site based in Manchester are looking to appoint a Logistics Planner reporting directly into the Finance Director. This is a great opportunity for a Planner with international experience to join a busy expanding team who are widely recognised for their excellence in quality, product range, service and work with leading retailers - always keeping their brands at the forefront.

Key responsibilities include:

  • The importing of goods from four global territories
  • Stakeholder engagement liaising with freight forwarders to ensure timeliness of shipments and release of goods from customs
  • Management of the accuracy and timeliness of stock being booked into the clients warehouse
  • Letter of credits for the trade transactions and management of Bills of Lading ensuring that the goods have been loaded and terms are accurate
