Our exclusive client, a well-known manufacturing company based in Wigan is looking for a confident Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a temporary basis. The role will be for approximately 2 months but there is a high possibility this will continue for longer.


In order to be considered this role you must be on a 1 week notice period or immediately available.


Job Description:

  • Matching, batching and coding invoices.
  • Checking monthly statements/adjustments
  • Processing supplier payments.
  • Supplier reconciliations.
  • Dealing with suppliers and resolving queries.
  • Ad-hoc duties to assist the managing Director.


Ideally you will:

  • Be used to processing high volumes of invoices.
  • IT literate with strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Have experience of working as part of a team
  • Great attention to detail
