I am currently supporting a client of mine with their search for a HR Assistant to join them, initially on a 6 month FTC, to support through a period of transformation.
In this role you will play an important part in delivering an effective people service, providing day-to-day administrative support and helping ensure the people processes run smoothly and efficiently.
You'll gain exposure to a broad range of HR activities, working alongside experienced colleagues while supporting the transition to a shared service delivery model.
As the HR Assistant, you'll support with the following

- Absence management: Support the Senior People Advisor with holiday, sickness and unpaid leave administration
- Payroll support: Assist with the monthly payroll process, ensuring information is accurate and submitted within required timescales
- Employee records and systems: Maintain accurate employee records and People systems, ensuring information is handled in line with GDPR requirements
- Onboarding: Support new starters by preparing contracts, collecting right-to-work documentation, arranging inductions and coordinating first-day arrangements
- Leaver administration: Process resignations, update systems and help organise exit interviews
- Probation and development reviews: Support the administration of reviews and ensure records are kept up to date
- Continuous improvement: Contribute to Operational Excellence initiatives that improve processes and ways of working
My client are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable and enjoys working as part of a team. You'll be comfortable managing competing priorities, working to deadlines and maintaining high standards of accuracy.
If you are available for work immediately or at short notice please send your CV for immediate consideration.
