Our client is a leading UK logistics group, delivering tailored supply chain solutions through its nationwide network of companies. As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced Interim Credit Manager to support our Finance team in driving robust credit control processes, improving cashflow, and supporting key business objectives during a critical period of transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the Credit Control function across the Group.
- Implement and enforce effective credit policies, procedures, and controls.
- Manage debtor ledger, ensuring timely collections and minimising aged debt.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve disputes and improve processes.
- Provide accurate credit reporting, analysis, and recommendations to senior management.
- Support the Finance Director with strategic cashflow forecasting and debtor management.
About You:
- Proven track record as a Credit Manager, ideally within logistics, distribution, or related industries.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to quickly build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Results-driven, analytical, and commercially aware.
- Excellent knowledge of credit risk management, cashflow forecasting, and reporting.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, change-driven environment..
