
We're partnering with a growing, multi-entity business to appoint an experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader to take ownership of a busy P2P function in Greater Manchester.
This role combines leadership and delivery. You'll oversee a team of AP analysts locally, alongside offshore support, ensuring supplier payments are accurate, controlled and delivered on time across a complex operational environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and motivating the AP team, setting standards and driving performance
- Managing payment cycles, reconciliations and aged ledger integrity
- Handling complex supplier queries and resolving escalations
- Supporting month-end processes, including accruals and ledger reviews
- Identifying process improvements within a high-volume setting
What we're looking for:
- Strong AP / P2P background
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
- Confident working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
- Solid systems exposure (SAP highly desirable)
- Analytical, solutions-focused and calm under pressure
- Finance qualification (part-qualified or studying) preferred
