An opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join a leading manufacturing business based in Blackburn, on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Working within a fast-paced finance team, you'll play a key role in managing the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, supplier payments, and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices
- Managing payment runs and resolving queries
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Supporting month-end close and reporting tasks
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an accounts payable or finance assistant role
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Confident using accounting systems and Excel
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
