Scheduler

Employment Type: PermanentLocation: ManchesterSalary: £18000 - £20000 per annum + benefits


A UK leading business based in Manchester City Centre are seeking an experienced Scheduler to join their team on a permanent basis, paying up to £18,000-£20,000pa dependent on experience. Acting as a key point of contact between multiple contacts within the business, you will be responsible for scheduling the engineers diaries. Please see below an overview of your key responsibilities:

  • Scheduling engineers to attend sites throughout the UK, planning out sensible routes ensuring they are time and cost effective
  • Liaising directly with customers re. any jobs, and assisting with any queries they may have
  • Processing paperwork within an accurate and timely manner
  • Updating customers with the process of their jobs, including cost updates and completion dates
  • General administration duties, including taking calls, monitoring emails and helping to contribute to the smooth day to day running of the department



The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in scheduling or coordination
  • Great organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Be able to use google maps and other route planning applications effectively
  • Be able to work autonomously but also as part of a team
