Job Title - Purchase Ledger Team Leader
Salary - Up to £30k
Location - Horwich

Our client are a brilliant, Horwich-based business who were established over 150 years ago and have been servicing the local area ever since.
What's the role?
This role is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk who has experience supporting one or two junior members of the team - as part of your role, you will oversee the Purchase Ledger Clerks and ensure that everything is running smoothly.
You'll also be involved with:
- Matching, batching, and coding invoices,
- Entering data into the accounts purchase ledger.
- Verifying costs for approval.
- Addressing internal and external queries with suppliers.
- Approving invoices in the system for payment.
- Executing payment runs using the accounts system, Bankline, and Excel spreadsheets.
- Filing and scanning all documentation in our document management system.
- Performing monthly statement reconciliations.
- Conducting year-end supplier statement reconciliations.
When and where?
You'll be based in the office in Horwich and will be there each day.
Standard hours are 9 - 5, but if you wanted to alter these at all, the client is flexible and understands that people have commitments!
What qualifications / experience do I need?
- At least 5 years of experience working in a Purchase Ledger Role
- Some experience leading a team or looking supervising a member of staff, even if it's just one other!
