Management Accountant

Management Accountant

Location: Salford- with hybrid working

Salary: circa £38,000- £42,000

Our client is recruiting an experienced management accountant to join their team. This is key role, reporting into the Financial Controller, assisting with the preparation of management accounts, cash management reporting and the audit. The successful candidate will have strong experience in balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

Offering an excellent benefits package and flexible working, this is the ideal role for a part qualified management accountant, who may be looking for some further development and exposure to budgeting/commentary/analysis further down the line or a 'qualified by experience' accountant who is looking for stability within a role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the preparation and reporting of monthly accounts
  • Liaising with others in the business to provide monthly management account information
  • Support with providing information for the audit
  • Cash book management and reconciling cash collection
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts to bank statements
  • Monthly reconciliation of the company's credit card receipts
  • Prepare bank payments
  • Balance sheet reconciliations on monthly basis
  • Posting nominal ledger journals
  • Analysis of expense and balance sheet accounts
  • Reconciliation of internal stock audits to the nominal ledger
  • Responsible for weekly reporting to include, volume, aged debtors and ad hoc reports
