Financial Controller

I am currently recruiting for a globally recognised brand who are recruiting for their first Financial Controller. This is a great opportunity to join a business who have a run rate of 50m in just two years! There is a direct path to FD as the company continues to grow. Heading up the Finance department you will have the autonomy to implement a high quality financial infrastructure, key focuses will include:

  • Implementing a financial strategy that aligns with their business strategy
  • Production of Management Accounts
  • Liaise with third parties, banks, HMRC, auditors & other key stakeholders
  • Operational KPI reporting
  • Sales and margin analysis
  • Supervision and development of team members
  • Implementing processes which are robust to accommodate the business scaling

Your knowledge, skills & experience

  • Qualified in ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (or finalist)
  • Experience of all aspects of accounts including forecasts
  • Xero accounting software knowledge is desirable
  • Previous experience working within a fast-paced, ecommerce and/or logistics organisation

In terms of team/culture you will be working within a fast paced entrepreneurial environment so you must have a positive "can do" attitude and be willing to roll your sleeves up when needed, be able to confidently deal with stakeholders across all levels and be comfortable working under pressure.
