Finance Assistant

Finance Assistant

Location: Trafford

Salary: circa £26,000-£32,000

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing manufacturer based in Trafford. This dynamic and expanding business is looking to add a motivated Finance Assistant to their busy team.

As a Finance Assistant, you will be a key member in the finance department, handling essential transactional tasks and contributing to the smooth running of financial operations. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately processing and managing incoming invoices.
  • Keeping financial records up to date with accurate data entry.
  • Assisting with reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
  • Helping to manage payments and track expenses.
  • Providing general support to the finance team, including preparing documentation and assisting with audits.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar finance role
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Sage200 and Excel would be advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Great communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
