Customer Service Administrator

Customer Service Administrator - Full Time Permanent

Location: Colne

Salary: £19,000-£20,000pa (dependant on experience)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join a growing company in Colne. Our client is a large, independent supplier of re-manufactured equipment in the UK. They offer a range of services to their varied client base and are looking for a strong Customer Service Administrator to join their service team. This is the chance to play your part in the plans for the company's rapid expansion, taking on a key role in the business to support the day-to-day operations.

Main Duties:

  • Logging jobs onto the company system and managing/scheduling in these jobs for the coming weeks
  • Liaising with suppliers to arrange parts for servicing and repairs, then booking service engineers out on these jobs
  • Raising quotations and sending out invoices
  • Utilising Microsoft Office packages including Excel and Outlook, as well as the company system
  • Providing quality customer service to individuals over the phone and over email to answer any queries, ensuring that all clients are satisfied with the level of service received
  • Logging any complaints onto the company system and ensuring all issues are resolved quickly
  • Reporting back to your line manager with any unresolved issues, maintaining effective communication with the wider team at all times

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Will have experience in an office-based Customer Service or administrative environment or be a driven Graduate with excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn
  • Be IT literate, able to use Microsoft Office confidently and pick up on bespoke company systems with a degree of ease
  • Be capable of working independently, able to manage their own workload and demonstrating initiative where required
  • Have a proactive and enthusiastic attitude to work
  • Be able to work under pressure and continue on a set task until completion
  • Have clear communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of different people
