Accounts Supervisor

Accounts Supervisor
Based: Horwich
12-18 month contract
Salary: up to 28k


Our client is a well-known, leading business who have experienced growth in the last few years are looking to add an Accounts Supervisor to cover maternity. Diversifying into numerous new markets, they are a market leader in their industry with plans to continue offering further products and services across all their divisions.
Role:

  • Manage 1 member of staff
  • Evaluate, develop, and improve department controls, and procedures in order to increase accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist/supporting other departments within the division as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions especially of that which could have a financial impact on the company
  • Creating reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties, such as suppliers.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and participating in audits or reconciliations, as and when needed.
  • Ensuring financial records are complete and accurate
  • Ensuring that supplier invoices are paid and division debts are collected
  • Management of the sales ledger function (invoicing, credits notes, & po's


Experience:

  • Experience of mentoring/developing staff
  • Driven and a constant desire to improve processes
  • Experience of producing management accounts
