Four Supply Chain

Temporary Supply Chain Administrator

Employment Type: TemporaryLocation: DentonSalary: £20000 - £22000 per annum

My client is a large global food manufacturer who develop, produce and market their products with full ownership of the end to end Supply Chain. My client is worldwide and is looking for a temporary Supply Chain administrator to come and join their team based in Manchester to assist in moving their Supply Chain team forward as the company strives towards their growth and sustainability goals.

What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for supporting the Supply Chain Managers with the day to day operations. Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Processing orders on SAP
  • Updating PO details onto excel
  • Delivery and receipt confirmation with 3PL's
  • Checking paperwork and ensuring any discrepancies are acted on
  • Completing import paperwork for inbound deliveries
  • PO placement for intercompany stock from international suppliers

Who would this role suit?

This role would suit someone who has previous experience working in a fast paced administrative role. In addition to having:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent administration skills with the ability to pick things up quickly
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office and excel
  • Knowledge of importation procedures and paperwork desirable but full training will be given
  • Strong work ethic and a team player
  • SAP experience is desirable but not essential

This role is currently on a temporary basis but for the right candidate there is the possibility that this role could become permanent.
