Based: Lancaster/Home based

Salary: dependent on experience. Hybrid working available

Role will be ongoing interim for 1-3 months with possible extension if required

Our client is a rapidly expanding SME. Business have grown quickly since their inception and with future plans of acquisitions and growth continuing, we are looking for a qualified hands on Financial Controller to assist the MD with immediate change and growth from a financial perspective. This role sits as number 1 in finance, looking after a small team and working with the MD on various projects whilst managing day to day finances

Role:

• Management and control of the finance team on day to day activities
• Managing and implementing the cash flow requirement for the group
• Preparation of the monthly financial reporting for UK Group of companies
• Posting accruals and prepayments, stock reconciliations, expenses recharges to group
• Responsible for the monthly reporting of company and group performance to directors and other stakeholders
• Preparation of annual budgets, working with department heads on ad-hoc projects
• Review the business operation and identify areas for improvement
• Deal with the companies tax compliance r
• First POC for external auditors and tax advisors if required

Experience:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Team management experience highly desirable
• Proven experience of implementing processes and improving efficiences
• Cashflow expeirence essential
