Customer Service Advisor

Are you currently working in Retail, Hospitality or Care and looking for a change of career? Are you looking for a role where you can really help people and make a difference?

A large, well-known organisation are seeking a number of Customer Care Advisors to join their team in Huncoat on a temporary to permanent basis, paying £20,000pa once permanent. This is a full time position, with great training and development opportunities and a fantastic working culture. To be considered for these roles, you must be able to start on the 6th December.

The purpose of your role is to provide a top-quality Customer Service experience, ensuring customers feel satisfied with any resolutions. Please see below an overview of the responsibilities:

  • To provide excellent customer service via a number of communication channels - over the phone, email, webchat and social media
  • To work towards SLA's, ensuring customers receive correspondence and calls within the agreed timeframe
  • Provide empathetic customer service, working hard to resolve the query quickly and efficiently
  • Deal with high level complaints and diffuse any situations accordingly
  • Ensure accurate logging of all customer communication on the inhouse system
  • Build strong internal and external relationships
  • Other duties as required



To be considered for this position, you must have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience working within a customer service-based role, but not necessarily in an office - this organisation are keen to consider candidates from hospitality, retail, care or other customer service environments
  • You must be highly reliable and punctual
  • A resilient personality, with strong communication skills
  • Kind and caring, with a genuine desire to help people
  • IT literate
  • Must be immediately available to start on the 6th December



In return you will receive:

  • An hourly rate of £8.91ph until you are permanent, and then you will receive a salary of £20,000pa
  • Great working hours of Monday - Friday - typically 9am-5pm
  • 28 days holiday
