Treasury Analyst

Employment Type: PermanentLocation: ManchesterSalary: £40000 - £45000 per annum + Competitive Benefits Package

Treasury Analyst - Well established and successful Financial Services organisation

Based: Manchester - Hybrid available (x2 days office vs x3 days home)

Salary: circa £40-45k dependant upon experience

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Treasury Analyst to join a well established and progressive business based in Central Manchester.

This role is being introduced to support the existing Head of Treasury in establishing a centre of excellence for treasury support across all companies with the Key focus areas being cash forecasting and month-end reporting, monitoring and setting up robust internal controls, the effective integration of new business units and daily liquidy managment.

Key Accountabilities

Business Performance

  • Updating of accurate short, medium and long term cash flow forecasts in the core companies
  • Help manage the banking relationships across the Atlanta Group
  • Collaborate in cross team finance projects
  • Participate with the Integration of new satellites business units into treasury forecasting, reporting and control processes
  • Monitor the key cash flow risks and opportunities
  • Prepare routine month end cash flow reporting including variance analysis and forecasting accuracy reporting
  • Record and distribute key forecasting assumptions for business sign-off
  • Documentation of new treasury processes and system developments
  • Daily Liquidity reporting across all business units
  • Back-up payment input support across the Group
  • Maintain and Update bank mandates/bankline reporting across the Group

Organisational Effectiveness

  • Assist in the upkeep of up-to-date bank mandates across the Group
  • Help with the update and maintenance of relevant working tools and materials including process documents.
  • Participate with the monitoring and development of internal controls relevant to the Group treasury business standard
  • Report/highlight any breaches/issues/concerns to line manager

Person Specification

  • Experience of working in a Treasury/FP&A or Cash Management Team
  • Demonstrable excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrable strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrable Organisational skills
  • Part-Qualified accountant CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent treasury qualification

This role requires an experienced treasury professional looking to join a growing and progressive business - you will be experienced across excel, have exposure to modelling and offer energy to the role and senior stakeholders within the business.
