Team Manager

Employment Type: PermanentLocation: HorwichSalary: £25000 - £30000 per annum + Benefits


A large, successful organisation based in Horwich are seeking 3x Team Managers to join their team on a permanent basis, paying up to £30,000pa dependant on experience. This company have enjoyed significant growth in the last 12 months, and have won multiple new contracts resulting in a high volume recruitment drive - it is a really exciting time to join the business.

Your role purpose as a Team Manager is to lead and motivate the operational team, to deliver a first class service to their customers. By providing inspirational leadership and motivational management, you will drive the workforce forward and create a culture that promotes innovation and succession.

Please see below the key responsibilities for this role:

  • Provide outstanding management support to the members of your team (up to 20 Case Handlers), including coaching, feedback, upskilling and development
  • Manage and prioritise the teams workflow and resource to adhere to SLA's and KPI's
  • Providing support and guidance, implementing performance improvement where necessary
  • Clear communication strategy with all direct reports, including 1-2-1's, performance reviews, appraisals, team meetings and new starter meetings
  • Development of your direct reports, including setting objectives in line with the company values
  • Assist in the recruitment of the team
  • Keep the team motivated and happy
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and senior management team to improve processes and implement new motivational activities
  • Lead by example, ensuring company policies are adhered to at all times



The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Team Management experience - Administration management, operations management, customer service management or call centre management would be ideal
  • Experience in leading and motivating a team within a high pressure environment
  • Understanding of working towards SLA's & KPI's
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to analyse performance data
  • Be approachable and empathetic
