Are you a procurement professional with experience in a manufacturing setting?

With experience spanning over 150 years, our client is the definition of an expert in their field and provide bespoke products across pharmaceutical, biotech and medical environments. This role will sit uniquely within our client's project management team, providing procurement and supply chain assistance directly to their pharmaceutical team. What does the role involve?

  • Procurement and supply chain assistance to the project management team
  • Gaining supplier quotations from issued Bill of Materials
  • Procurement and purchase requisitions
  • Coordination of dedicated database on supply chain commodity codes and country of origin
  • Tracing and monitoring of specified budget lines from costing workbook
  • Generation of packing lists
  • Generation of Commercial Shipping Invoices and logging on the register including any IPR monitoring
  • Import and Export management from supply chain and projects

Who would be the right fit?

This role would suit someone with purchasing experience who's looking for a role to work autonomously, taking responsibility for purchasing for a high performing team.

  • Background in procurement and supply chain management
  • Experience of working in a pressured environment and effectively managing competing demands in short timescales
  • Experience of working as part of a dynamic team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Competencies working with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
  • Good IT skills
  • A flexible approach and the ability to work effectively with others
  • Attention to detail with an ability to work autonomously and with appropriate reference to more senior colleagues
  • Good use of time management and priority planning
