Supply Chain Planner

Employment Type: PermanentLocation: ManchesterSalary: £30000 - £33000 per annum

An exciting and innovative Healthcare company with various offices in the North West are seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join their team in Manchester.

Employing over 200 staff across the UK, this organisation has enjoyed phenomenal growth in the last year, and are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Planner to assist in driving process improvement throughout the business with a huge focus on embedding optimal inventory levels that will balance both service and cost.

Areas of responsibility will include:

  • Management of inventory levels, having true ownership in driving efficiencies throughout the Supply Chain
  • Analysis of demand, taking into account volatility and placing PO's aligning to lead times and inventory levels
  • Stakeholder engagement and collaboration ensuring the right information is provided at the right time
  • KPI analysis and reporting into management
  • Supplier cost negotiation
  • Supplier relationship management and holding suppliers accountable for their performance
  • Non conformance management, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • Maintaining the QMS supplier and product documentation

Key skills and attributes?

  • Experience of working in a similar Supply Chain role
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide information in a concise manner
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office with particularly strong excel skills
  • ERP system experience
  • Working knowledge of demand planning and managing optimum inventory levels
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Capacity to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent supplier management skills
