Supply Chain Development Analyst

Employment Type: PermanentLocation: NottinghamSalary: £30000 - £35000 per annum

My client are a global supplier of market leading brands with a broad portfolio under their umbrella, their primary focus is on delivering innovative products and solutions to their customers. They are looking for a Supply Chain Development Analyst to come and join their team to assist in delivering first class customer service.

What will you be doing?

Reporting directly into the Head of Procurement and Inbound Supply Chain, your key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Development and distribution of KPI's, OOS, excess stock and future stock projections
  • Collaboratively work alongside Supply Chain Analysts, Portfolio Managers and Lead Category Buyers to ensure range reviews/deadlines are met, stock availability and stock/supplier performance are communicated
  • Develop and present Seasonal and stock buys to the Senior leadership team ensuring a robust set of principles, an efficient stock approach, in a timely manner and engaging key stakeholders along the way
  • Manage Seasonal, range review and large-scale stock buys, ensuring container optimisation, timing and supply chain efficiencies are considered
  • Support the Lead Category Buyers and Supply Chain Analysts by ensuring data on Supplier measures are shared and escalated where there is a risk that a supplier will not perform.
  • Develop and share robust supplier forecasts monthly.

Who would this role suit?

This role would suit someone who has:

  • A minimum of 2 Years experience in a supply chain or import environment
  • Supply Chain Analyst experience
  • Excellent excel skills with the ability to transfer knowledge to key stakeholders
  • Strong administration and communication skills
  • Ability to create easily understood reports
  • SAP system experience
  • A FMCG or retail background
