Supply Chain Administrator

My client are a well-established family run manufacturer delivering into the; retail, wholesale and hospitality sectors across the UK in addition to having international joint ventures. They are a company that have strong growth plans and pride themselves in delivering customer service excellence.

It is an exciting time for my client as they expand their Supply Chain team and are now looking for a Supply Chain Administrator to join them at their site in Manchester.

What you will be doing?

Reporting directly into the Supply Chain Manager you will have a real impact on providing the best in class service. Main responsibilities will include:

  • Full administration for the Logistics and Supply Chain function
  • Data entry for orders, stock movements and returns
  • Responsible for all daily intake and replenishment planning
  • Supplier compliance and management of non conformance
  • Collaboration with the Group Stock Controller on seasonal and event planning
  • Overview of the Supply Chain process from; receipt, packing, manufacturing and sales

Who would this role suit and key skills and attributes?

This role would suit someone who has experience working in a similar role, and is confident in managing multiple tasks delivering results accurately and timely. This role is for someone who thrives in a busy environment, who has a real enthusiasm for all things Supply Chain, and has the ambition to develop and deliver best in class service. In addition to having:

  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office in particular excel
  • FMCG experience
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration
  • Attention to detail
  • The drive to deliver best in class service balancing cost and service
