Location - Alderley Park (4 days office vs 1 day home)

Salary - up to £40K + Bonus

My client are an impressive leading Ecommerce health and well being retailer based from Cheshire but operating on a global scale.

The business have rapidly grown over the last 3 years, launching 16 international websites and successfully selling and distributing products to over 122 countries worldwide. represents some of the World's top Beauty brands.

The Business are seeking a Senior Merchandiser to join their existing team.

  • As Senior Merchandiser you'll be working closely with the buying teams to ensure that the collections are perfectly targeted to the customers' needs. The role will involve liaising with suppliers, planning stock packages, managing the OTB, assisting with the planning of stock levels, managing the WSSI and keeping a close eye on competitors.
  • Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our company's growth and success while being part of a dedicated team that prides itself on exceptional product knowledge and customer care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor inventory levels to optimise stock availability and reduce inventory surplus in line with business budgets
  • Analyse sales figures and trends to make informed decisions regarding purchasing and merchandising.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and seek cost-saving measures when possible.
  • Manage, lead, motivate and develop our team of Merchandisers.
  • Manage the Weekly Sales Stock and Intake planning
  • Monitor competitor offerings and ensure these are considered in merchandising activity

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in business, marketing, or a related field (Desirable)
  • Demonstrable experience in Merchandising, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong people management skills
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
  • A passion for consumer goods and an entrepreneurial spirit.
